Panhandle Back Country Horsemen Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to perpetuating the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in America's backcountry and wilderness. We work to insure that public lands remain open to recreational stock use and assist the various government and private agencies in their maintenance and management of those resources. Please come join us. |
Ol' Festus says.... "Don't ya be headin' out jest yet, kick off them boots and stay awhile. Camp fire is jest gettin' warm." |
Keep your eye on Ol' Festus. He'll be our trail boss and help guide you through the site. He loves it when you hold your mouse over him. Try it! |
Our monthly general membership meetings are held at the Dalton Gardens City Hall, on the southeast corner of 4th and Hanley. During the months of September through May, we meet on the third Saturday of each month - socialize at 7pm with the meeting starting at 7:30pm. We switch to the third Wednesday evening for the months of June, July and August... same starting time. Please, drop in anytime. Our Calendar page lists a schedule of all club events for the coming months. On our Newsletter page you will find the latest information about completed projects, meeting minutes, upcoming meetings and more information on future projects and/or rides. Visit the Photos page to view photographs of some of our past events and activities. On our Membership page you will find information about joining the PBCH organization, and an application you can print. The History link will give you more insight to the areas we ride and past projects. Please continue to support our Associate Members as they believe in our mission and support the Back Country Horsemen. Visit the Links page to see links to other Back Country Horsemen clubs and miscellaneous sites of interest. We will have members personal web sites listed as well. Feel free to e-mail us. We'll be glad to answer any questions you might have. |
Come on folks, give him another poke with that mouse. Keep him on his toes! He'll talk back to you on every page. |
