is a non-profit organization dedicated to perpetuating the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in America’s backcountry and wilderness.

We work to insure that public lands remain open to recreational stock use and assist the various government and private agencies in their maintenance and management of those resources. Please come join us.

The Preserving our Equine Heritage on Public Land Act, S. 2283, [previously referred to as the Right-to-Ride bill] would preserve the use and access of pack and saddle stock animals on public land administered by the National Park Service, and Bureau of Land Management, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, or the Forest Service on which there is a historical tradition of the use of pack and saddle stock animals. It was introduced by Senator Crapo, November 7, 2007.

Our monthly general membership meetings are held at the Dalton Gardens City Hall, on the southeast corner of 4th and Hanley. We socialize at 7 pm with the meeting starting at 7:30 pm.

During the months of September through May, we meet on the third Saturday of each month. We switch to the third Wednesday evening for the months of June, July and August ... same starting time. Please, drop in anytime.
